The Break is a world premiere, which will be produced in the 150-seat Waldron Auditorium. This is an anti-rom-com with a rock score. All roles available.

Seeking:
SAM – late 20’s to mid 30’s, female identified, any race, rock belter. Smart, sassy, and sarcastic. Trying to overcome her insecurities and self- consciousness. Her humor always comes from a place of deep kindness. She would have been described as a tomboy growing up. Still a bit repressed as a result of her Catholic upbringing in Texas, though she’s ditched the accent. Also plays: Randy, Women 1-5, Rodrigo, Shallow Actress

CHARLIE – late 20’s to mid 30’s, male identified, any race, tenor. Playful, sensitive, and creative. Kind of a dork, but in a charming way. Passionate about his music, though he may lack the drive to ever truly “make it”. He sees himself as the more emotional one in the relationship, but there’s an aloofness to him as well. Uses humor as a defense mechanism. Also plays: Sam’s Roommate, Men 1-3, Clevermoniker, Sweetie McDumdum, Austin, Sam’s Vagina

Interested actors should send their headshot, resume and a link to their website (if available) to Kate Galvin at casting@seeconstellation.org with the subject line “Submission for The Break”. Submissions are due MONDAY FEB 5th. All auditions are by appointment and will be held virtually via video submission and Zoom.
