1st PLACE – 3rd-5th Grade

Avigail Grile, also known as Avi, is an 11-year-old girl, born and raised, in Bloomington, IN. She is currently in the 5th grade at Edgewood Intermediate School where she has been involved in Spell Bowl and Eagle Eye News. When she isn’t busy writing poetry, stories and screenplays she enjoys spending time with her friends, family, her 2 dogs, 4 guinea pigs, 1 cat and Netflix.

Avigail wants to live in a world where superpowers and mythical creatures are real and guinea pigs have an empire of their own. However, if that doesn’t work out, she would like to be an actor/writer when she grows up. She’d love to one day act/write for major films.
