Description: The Bloomington Playwrights Project is holding a homecoming this summer. Eight of our best and brightest have returned to bless the BPP Mainstage with a fun and diverse selection of their new work.
Return of the Alumni is an evening of eight new 10-minute plays by some of the BPP’s most established Mainstage playwrights from the past: Jim Leonard, Jr. (Co-founder of the BPP and author of The Diviners), Janet Burroway (winner of the Reva Shiner Award for Medea With Child), Marcia Cebulska (author of The Runaway), Eric Pfeffinger (author of Accidental Rapture), Rich Orloff (author of Days of Possibilities), Greg Owens (author of Home Front), Trista Baldwin (Chicks With Dicks), and Jeanne Beckwith. Come see how they’ve grown!
Performances of Return of the Alumni are July 31st — August 2 at 8pm at the BPP. Tickets are $8. We will be hosting a Talkback with the visiting playwrights after the Friday night show.
