Performance Groups:

The Bloomington Playwrights Project announces new space rental rates and availability for performance arts groups* at its 9th Street venue beginning in August of 2010.

BPP Performance Group Rate Card

“The BPP has adjusted its regular rates (created to accomodate parties and other one-off events) to attract those groups that require not only affordable space for rehearsals and performances, but the technical capacity that only an operating theatre like the BPP can provide,” says Artistic Director Chad Rabinovitz.”

To do so, The Bloomington Playwrights Project is offering the following features and amenities to all performance arts groups:

• More affordable rates than any other performance venue of its kind in town
• 90 seating capacity and more comfortable seating than the competition 
• No added fees
• New light/sound booth (complete by March 2010)
• Newly renovated lobby with Art Gallery (complete by July 2010)
• Convenient parking/downtown location
• 2 large dressing rooms with full vanities
• Access to Kitchenette/Workspace
• Access to available props/costumes
• Archival photography available
• Full use of the BPP's lighting and sound equipment
• Access to credit card processing for at-the-door credit card transactions

“We encourage performance groups to look to the BPP when planning their productions this coming season,” says Rabinovitz.
