The Magic of Make Believe

for Ages 3 - 5

Stories come to life! In this 4 week session children listen to stories, act out the stories with puppets, and make puppets of their own to take home.  Theater games, movement, costumes, musical instruments and song round out this creative arts experience.   Imaginations soar as your child develops early literacy skills crucial to school success, self-confidence, eye-hand coordination and social skills.  Sign up for a single class or the 4 week session.

About the instructor:
Gail Bray has been acting, teaching and directing for over thirty years.  An award-winning, professional actress, Gail has performed locally here at the BPP, with Cardinal Stage, at the Shawnee in Bloomfield, and the Phoenix Theatre in Indianapolis.  She has taught drama to children of all all ages from preschool through high school, and directed productions for schools, theatres and organizations in the Chicago area, Zionsville, IN, Edmonds, WA, Port Townsend, WA, and here in Bloomington.  She received her B.A. in Theatre from Northern Illinois University and a Master’s in Education from Antioch University, Seattle.
